Set up Mack in Google Gemini
gemini.google.com with a personal Google account in the US. Setup takes about 2 minutes. Your personal connector address is on the welcome page you saw right after checkout. It looks like https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code>.
Before you start
- A personal Google account (Gmail). Google does not allow custom apps on work or school accounts yet.
- You must be 18 or older and in the US, use Gemini in English, and keep Gemini Apps Activity turned on. Google is still rolling custom apps out, so some accounts may not see them yet.
Steps
- Go to gemini.google.com on a computer and sign in with your personal Google account.
- Click Settings (bottom left), then Connected Apps. If you don’t see Connected Apps, click Personal Intelligence first.
- Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app.
- Paste your connector address: https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code> Then click Next.
- Follow the on-screen steps. If a sign-in page from aicitationguide.com opens, paste your access code (your access code) and click Connect.
- In a chat, type @ and pick Mack, then ask your question.
- Try it: Use Mack to rewrite my homepage, https://yourwebsite.com, so AI search engines quote it.
Good to know
- Type @Mack at the start of each request so Gemini knows to use Mack.
- To turn Mack off, go to Settings → Connected Apps and switch it off under Custom apps.
- If your company only uses Google Workspace accounts, use Mack in ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot instead, or ask us for help.
