Set up Mack in Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot Studio, then Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams. Setup takes about 2 minutes. Your personal connector address is on the welcome page you saw right after checkout. It looks like https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code>.
Before you start
- Access to Microsoft Copilot Studio (copilotstudio.microsoft.com) through your company’s Microsoft 365 account. Your IT admin may need to give you access.
- The free Copilot app for consumers does not support custom connectors. Mack works through a Copilot Studio agent.
Steps
- Go to copilotstudio.microsoft.com and sign in with your work account.
- Create a new agent (or open one you already use). Name it Mack.
- Open the agent’s Tools page. Click Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
- Server name: Mack. Server description: MK7’s AI rewrite agent. Audits web pages for AI search, rewrites them so AI tools can quote them, builds schema code and checks AI crawler access. Server URL: https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code>
- Authentication: None. Click Create.
- Click Create a new connection, then Add to agent.
- Test it in the Test panel on the right: Use Mack to rewrite my homepage, https://yourwebsite.com, so AI search engines quote it.
- To use Mack in Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams, click Publish, then open Channels and add Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Your admin may need to approve it.
Good to know
- If your organization requires a key, choose API key, type Header, header name X-API-Key, use https://aicitationguide.com/mcp as the URL, and enter your access code as the key: your access code
- In the agent’s instructions, add: “Use the Mack tools whenever I ask about a website or web page.”
