Set up Mack in Claude
claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, any plan. Setup takes about 2 minutes. Your personal connector address is on the welcome page you saw right after checkout. It looks like https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code>.
Before you start
- A computer with claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. Connectors you add there also work in the Claude phone app.
- Any Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds Mack once for everyone (see the tips below).
Steps
- Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app and sign in.
- Click Customize, then Connectors. (In older versions this is Settings → Connectors.)
- Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name: Mack. Paste your connector address as the server URL: https://aicitationguide.com/mcp/<your access code> Then click Continue.
- If Claude asks how to sign in, choose No sign in and click Add. If a sign-in page from aicitationguide.com opens instead, paste your access code (your access code) and click Connect.
- Start a new chat. Click + at the lower left of the message box, choose Connectors, and switch Mack on.
- Try it: Use Mack to rewrite my homepage, https://yourwebsite.com, so AI search engines quote it. When Claude asks permission to use a Mack tool, choose Always allow.
Good to know
- Team and Enterprise: an owner goes to Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, enters the name Mack and your address, and clicks Add. Each member then opens Customize → Connectors, finds Mack and clicks Connect.
- To change the address later, remove Mack under Customize → Connectors and add it again.
